640*360 --> ratio : 16/9
The player is set with a size of
760*320 --> ratio : 21.375/9
So it' s not the same size and worst it' snot the same ratio.
So two way to adjust this set the same size for the player (at least same ratio 16/9) and/or play with the "Stretching” parameters :
• Field “Stretching”
How to resize the poster and video to fit the display. Can be none (keep original dimensions), exactfit (stretch is proportionally), uniform (stretch proportionally; black borders) or fill (stretch proportionally; parts cut off). Defaults to uniform.

Thank you so much for all your assistance with this player.
Please take a closer look at the video ratios. The same video is in a different player (bo:videoJS) on the home page. The video size is in face 320 x760. The same size as the player. It plays at the right size on the home page in mp4, ogv and webm. The transport and playlist functionality of this player is very limited so we need another solution and decided to try the joomlarulez jwplayer. This issue has us stumped and we work with web video daily. Attached is the video.
Your thoughts?

3 solutions :
1 - you adjust the stretching parameter (set to fill)
or
2 - you change the size of the player to fit to your video size
or
3 - you re-encode you video to fit with the player size.

I check your homepage with chrome (as it doesn't work with FF) and what I can see is the player use certainly a built-in stretching feature. So as I said you have to do the same with JW player
---> adjust the stretching parameter --> set to fill
or change your player size or you video size.

Attached is the video format info. VLC opens the video in a windows sized 760x320. Are we looking at the same video? This video is clearly 760x320. Yes we know about the FF issue with bo:video. That is on reason why we need another player solution. Please help me here. Fill does not work. Have you tried the video I sent on your test servers? I'm sure there is solution but not fill and stretch.

The video in the link you sent to me is indeed 16:9. This is a different video than is on the front page. It is not stretched. The video I sent to you is the video on the front page. They are 2 different sizes on two different servers! I uploaded the correct video to both servers. We are good now. Whew!!!! What a stupid mistake. :silly:
