mp3 and videos

hello,

i need a bit of help.
i've got the jwplayer module 2.10.00.
i've made a playlist in xml for get mp4 files.
it worked fine.
but then i've decided to add to the playlist some mp3 files and now it doesn't work at all.
the module is just black with no error.

any thoughts?

i've corrected it and it's not that.
i've even tried deleting all items on the playlist and leaving just one to see if adding one at the time causes any problems , but still no luck.
my starting point in the playlist is:

you have set an url where there is no playlist:

www.arekmazurek.com/media/video/playlist for video2.xml

i've separated the playlist and the tunes into two folders and it works now.
can play mp3 and flv files from one playlist, however not all of them go through.

is there a limit of how many items you can have in the list ?

oh, and one last thing.

is there a time lag/delay between what you do on the folders (on the server)
to what is displayed at the actual website?
i mean if i change a file or copy it how fast does it change on the actual website?

1 - There is no items limit of a xml playlist.

2 - This is dependent from the website cache.

ok. i give up.
i went to the joomla 1.6 backend and i've cleared the cache under the admin options/maintance
but it stopped working again !
so frustrating.
i've installed firefox, chrome, opera and ie9 on my laptop to test my sites on different browsers and
it looks the same on all of them.

what i've found is if i type in the location of the playlist, it does show up :
www.arekmazurek.com/media/videoplaylist/videoplaylist.xml

i've tried the same with the mp3 files and flv videos and you can download them if you take their location from the playlist, but still no luck with the jw player module.

there is several issue

1 - at those url there is no file :

2 - there is a strange character inside your xml file line 63

you can see it with notepad ++ in AINSI mode,

I remove it in the file attach.





Also, you have to consider to not used some character in your url or name file/directory like

space or ' or & or = and so one

it's better to used characters like _ or -
