No sound in mp4 file / Picture only in fullscreen

Hi,

i use JW Player Module to show a mp4 file.

After hours i am able to see the player on the screen. But there is no sound. The movie is seen only in fullscreen without sound.

I have just only one mp4 file now. The path is set to absolute path like

mydomain.com/media/file.mp4

Volume : 90

Any hints ?

thinks it's a encoding issue,

Flashplayer requires MP4's to be H264 encoded to play them.

So i check you mp4 and is encoded with AVC1 codec this is not support, you have to encode it to H264

you can use this free software to be sure :

other point you can set playlist position to none as you have only one file to stream.



about joomfish, i don't know, i never used this component, i have to make a test.

It looks fine. But the files are still too big, but this is another problem.

I would like to buy a licence of the advance player. Is it possible to get a time-bombed-trial-version? (Couple days)

BTW: Is the H.264 problem the cause of showing the video only in fullscreen ? I have still no picture.

as i say, you have to set the variable "Playlist Position" to --> "none", ii's why you don't see the body of the player.
