how to integrate shoutcast server

Hi,

I am using joomla 2.5 and successfully installed jw player module for one of my online radio website. I dont know how to integrate shoutcast server in this module. i.e) i dont know what i should select whether rss link or single file for source and for url, i used "http://ip address:port" but it didnt worked. I tried several methods but it didnt played.

Someone help me to overcome this issue.

Hello,

Shoutcast is not officially support, but with some server configuration with the parameter type set this can work.

But this require the advanced version of the module.

Did you want I make a try ? if yes please provide the url.

If we want to make any changes in the shoutcast control panel, then pls tell me we will do because the client will not share cpanel details.

Ok, it's working, with JW 6 but the type have to be set to mp3 :
