Loadposition

Hi guys,

Why do I find it so dificult to find some documentation how to set up the player.

Can you help me to get the player working for 1 flv file in an article.
I have copied the module as described in the joomlaspan document. But I get no player.
How do I makel from these 2 rules a working player, what is the right sysntax?

(loadposition Player1) and
(jwplayer) www.xxxx.nl/images/stories/videos/snowscooter.flv(/jwplayer)

Where ( is a }.....

How do I get this file played in the player1 position in an article?

Hi,

the module is not a plugin, so you can not use this kind of meta :

this only work with The JW player Plugin Advanced.

so if you want to use a module in article the right syntax is

i assume that you have set the JW player module as position Player1

Yes, the JW player module has position player1. I have tried so may combinations. SO only the syntax {loadposition Player1} should do it. But nothing to see! On the right side of the screen in the parameter secton I have selected "single file" and the link to the file.

It has costs me so many hours to find documentation for these simple set up things. Am I looking wrong or is there no documentation?

3 - you have also tip note help in the backend of the module (point your mouse on the field and tip note will appear)

4 - there is the support forum



for the advanced module there is also a manual of more then 100 pages, but only for our subscribers...
